Most of the cribs can be extended to make a junior size bed in round, square or triangular shapes. The bedding for the crib must be appropriate for the baby. Keep it simple, like a bed sheet and blanket, instead of placing stuffed animals or pillows which might disable the proper breathing of the baby. Moreover eliminate all unnecessary items which may smother the baby.
The rectangular baby cribs can be purchased from a stock of different models like round spindled sides, sleigh styles, flat slats and arched backs. There are also cribs where both the sides can be dropped down. Rectangular cribs are useful as they can be converted into beds at a later stage. Certain models come attached with custom drawers to store the baby accessories.

For kids, bath time is one of the joys of life. Bath toys are part and parcel of taking a bath. For parents, choosing the right bath toys that straddle fun and safety requires some thought and with younger kids, constant supervision. Bath toys that float are obviously good choices. The all time favorite, the little rubber yellow ducky, tops the list. He squeaks, floats and is cute.
However, come bath time, kids want to bring half of their toy chest in to the tub. A Barbie doll or a metal car may be must-haves for your child. You’re afraid of the danger posed by these bath time toys that tend to sink rather than swim. A bath full of bubbles, with Barbie or the beloved metal car at the bottom of the tub, means that there’s the potential of your child going underwater to search out their toy. So direct supervision is an absolute necessity. Even when you’re right there, a child might dip their head underwater to retrieve their toy, swallowing water simply because they don’t know any better. Such an event can trigger a fear of water in a child that’s not easily outgrown.

I’ve always thought it curious that some parents feel the need to run to the doctor with their child every time the baby coughs or gets a bump. The common thing is that these are the children always sick, always running a “fever”.
The reason is simple, medications ruin the body’s defense mechanism. That is putting it simply. Steroids, antibiotics and other meds commonly dosed out to children destroy the delicate balance in the intestinal tract that makes it possible to assimilate nutrition and grow and heal.
Think of how that child feels even when people tell them they are all better. They can’t tell a parent that food makes their tummy hurt or that they cannot go to the bathroom even when they feel the need, that eating gives them a headache. They may not have terms to explain those complaints but their world will become that reality without healthy change. All this for the simple fact that medication is destroying their tiny digestive system. They will live a life of doctor’s visits, runny noses, constipation, recurring coughs, recurring bad skin, tummy aches, etc. There is a solution.

Some children see doctors for every sniffle and cough yet are never really well. Have you ever wondered why that is?
Its because antibiotics strip the body of a very necessary array of intestinal flora that help the body digest, stay balanced, keep candida yeast in check, and in general stay alive. So what will be the outcome for children targeted over and over again for antibiotics, steroids or other medications that will ruin intestinal function?
These small children will see life as a series of doctors visits, yes but more than that. They will never get well. Intermittently they will be well enough and then the next round of sniffles will come and off they may be rushed for more meds. Their reality will be a life of sore throats, runny noses, diarrhea that goes into constipation, inability to enjoy food, allergies, headaches, lethargy, apathy, maybe early onset arthritis, and on the list goes. So what is the answer?

What could be better for a mother than the gift of a new child? Obviously, not much but there is free stuff for new moms that cannot not only help them in raising their new bundle of joy but in also in easing the financial burden associated with a new child.
If you are an expecting mom, you probably are looking for these products: diapers, baby food, skin care products, shampoo and powders, and clothing. These products can help you take care of your new child.
Yes it is. But companies, that give away free stuff for moms, are creating goodwill and get more publicity. It’s a win-win situation, per se.
Companies are very much eager to give away free gifts for moms too, such as skin care products, magazines and even gift certificates. Such are offered so moms can pamper themselves and relax while waiting for the new baby to come.

With all the joys that come in having children, the silver lining is, of course, dealing with the insurance company. After having a premature baby, we hoped our last concern would be how to pay for his care. instead many quite hilarious situations have entailed in our insurance dealings.
Firstly, we received a bill shortly after this whole experience for the transportation of our son from the hospital he was born in, to the children’s hospital where he was being cared for. This bill was near $1,000, and the note on the bill said our insurance had denied coverage because it was not a medical necessity. So, I guess it really was our fault that we didn’t try to plug the incubator into the cigarette lighter of our car first. Since, it has been appealed and covered.
